Today, August 23. 2019, was a Friday full of new releases. Artists ranging from Why Don’t We to Taylor Swift to BROCKHAMPTON all dropped music today. Let’s get into all of the new music that was dropped.
Taylor Swift dropped her much anticipated album, “Lover,” consisting of 19 songs, as well as her hit singles, “ME!” featuring Brendon Urie, frontman of Panic! At The Disco, and “You Need to Calm Down.”
Why Don’t We, a 5-piece boyband, released their newest single of the month, “What Am I,” as well as a music video that was uploaded at the same time the song was.
American rap collective, BROCKHAMPTON, released a brand new album named, “GINGER,” which features 12 songs.
The 1975 also released a new single, “People.” Produced by George Daniel and Matthew Healy, “People” is the lead single for their fourth studio album, Notes on a Conditional Forum.
Bea Miller collaborated with Jessie Reyez on her new song, “Feels Like Home.”
Rising boyband, In Real Life, dropped their debut album, “She Do,” including 11 songs, 4 of which are never before listened to and are brand new to the public.
CNCO, a Latin-American 4 piece boyband, released new single, “Ya Tú Sabes,” which is pulled from their newest EP, “Que Quiénes Somos,” due to be released on October 11, 2019.
Australian Pop-Punk band, 5 Seconds of Summer, put out their newest single, “Teeth,” featured on the soundtrack of Netflix’s hit show, 13 Reasons Why. The music video for this song was also released and it available to watch on YouTube.
Rence, a singer signed to Epic Records, dropped a new single, “Darkside.” This genre fluid song comes after the release of his song, “Expensive,” which features Noah Cyrus.
Lana Del Rey released two new songs, “F*** it I love you,” and “The Greatest.”
